Keith Sorrells is a seasoned forestry professional with over two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors. A U.S. Navy veteran with nine years of honorable service, Keith transitioned into natural resource management after earning a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Auburn University. Keith is also a licensed real estate agent in Texas and Louisiana.His early career with the U.S. Forest Service included roles ranging from Forestry Technician to Silviculturist, where he gained extensive expertise in forest health, fire management, inventory, and stakeholder engagement. Keith later moved into the private sector, serving as Inventory Forester and District Forester for major timber investment firms, overseeing hundreds of thousands of acres across East Texas.Keith and his wife Cheryl reside in Hemphill, Texas, where they enjoy traveling, hiking, birding, and the occasional round of golf.
