John's easygoing personality has made him a Top Producer (AFM Real Estate company award) in the State of Maine for over 20 years. John states, "In my experience as a Maine real estate professional, providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means being accessible, a good listener, and a good communicator who responds quickly to the client's needs, as well as being proactive in providing important information needed to make the right decisions. When it comes to land, being a licensed Forester is a great asset. This 'client first' philosophy has always been my approach, and it requires me to continually improve my skills and way of doing business."
Testimonials
""I am delighted to provide this reference for John Colannino as a licensed real estate broker. John handled the sale of a woodlot in Maine for me. As I had inherited the property, I did not know much about it, including how to access it properly, but John handled everything in a manner that was efficient and painless for me. He scouted it and set a proper price, as judged by the assortment of bids that he was able to attract, including one full-price offer. Throughout the process, John kept me informed and answered all of my questions quickly and accurately. He could not have been more helpful. I think there are several types of real estate agents. Some try to make the quickest sale with the least effort, while others see their role as an advisor and advocate for their clients. John is in the latter category. He sees the big picture and builds relationships with his clients rather than going for quick sales. He listened to all of my concerns and provided proper pushback or perspective when needed. Even after the sale, John has been a huge resource to me. When I needed help finding a forester to do a small job for me on another property, John connected me with the foresters in the company. There is no doubt he would help me with whatever I might ask of him in the future. I would give John the highest possible rating.""
