With more than 30 years of experience in the forest industry, Kevin Tuers brings a perspective of hands-on experience and insight to all kinds of projects. His journey began in his grandfather’s logging company, where he learned the value of hard work, long days, and doing farm work after hours.   Other opportunities, such as pulling green chains at a sawmill, stream surveys with ODFW, and Landslide Surveys with ODF, provided a practical background that led his approach to figure out the career path he was soon to follow.

After earning a degree from Oregon State University in Forestry and Wildlife, Kevin started cruising timber and taught himself Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This soon led to a career in GIS and Forest Inventory modeling and programming. This technical background, combined with extensive field experience, has made him a trusted resource for land acquisition, disposition, and valuation within the industrial forest sector. His deep understanding of natural resources and the intrinsic value of land enables him to offer clients a perspective that balances economic opportunity with environmental responsibility.

Throughout his career, Kevin Tuers has been involved in numerous property transactions and has developed a reputation for integrity, diligence, and a commitment to sustainable land management. As an avid outdoorsman, he spends much of his free time exploring and appreciating the very landscapes he works to protect and enhance.

“One of my previous job titles was Sustainability Manager, and with that, I had the pleasure to serve on the Resources Board for the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).  Not only are working forests healthy and sustainable, but I also learned the value that the community plays, including the people who work and enjoy the forest, and the importance of education in sustainability.”
