John has spent most of his career working in the southeast timber industry as a soil scientist and forest manager. He has also worked in research, technical services, and land sales. He enjoys working with buyers who want a relatively small timberland tract to develop a perfect mini-farm property like he and his wife have in Lee County, AL. Additionally, he likes working with buyers and sellers of large timberland tracts where he can use his experience with soils/silviculture/timber finance to help both parties understand the potential or limitations of the tract's planted pine. John has been a land agent with AFM Real Estate since 2014.
