Eighty-one acres of private property surrounded on four side by Pond Creek National Wildlife Refuge, a 27,000 acre refuge that protects Arkansas wildlife. But since this is private property, the restrictions on hunting the refuge do not apply to this private property (such as foot plots, baiting, not having to remove/move blinds. Access to the property is through a locked gate and improved road that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife gladly grants a special use permit for year round access to the property. The USFW has place rock on the access road for year round wet weather access and the road inside the property is improved and built up to allow access even in wet weather conditions. The property has ±51 acres of hardwood/pine mix that was had a wildlife thinning done to open up the stand for wildlife. The back ±30 acres is a fully stocked natural hardwood /pine stand that also offers great habitat for all wildlife. There are multiple high quality elevated blinds as well as tripod and tree stands with feeders that will go with the sale of the property if desired. Trails throughout the property with shooting lanes and two ponds that lure wildlife in. Seller said USFW could grant a legal easement request. Currently no utilities or hunting camp housing is on site.
