Eric Gage

Eric Gage is the Broker in Charge for AFM Real Estate's Texas Region, which covers Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. He holds active real estate broker licenses in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, allowing him to assist buyers and sellers of rural and timberland properties across that broad area.

Eric has been working in timberland real estate since 1996. His career began at a consulting forestry firm in Crockett, Texas, where he worked as an appraiser trainee before earning a real estate salesman license. From 1998 to 2006 he worked for a Timberland Investment Management Organization, and in late 2006 he moved full-time into timberland brokerage, where he has successfully represented TIMOs, REITs, and private individuals in the sale and acquisition of timberland and recreation properties.

Eric is a Certified Forester, an Accredited Land Consultant (a designation he earned in 2023 through the Realtors Land Institute), and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in multiple states. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Society of American Foresters and is a past chairman of the Texas Society of American Foresters.

Yes. The Realtors Land Institute named Eric one of the top 20 National Producers in 2022, 2023, and 2024. He was also named the National Broker of the Year for Timberland Sales in 2023 and the 2024 Region 8 Broker of the Year for Timberland Sales.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas in 1992. That foundation in forestry has informed his entire career in timberland appraisal, management, and real estate brokerage.
