Green Lake, Beech Hill Pond, and Graham Lake are all very close by and provide public boat landings, making them convenient for water recreation. Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and the ocean can be easily accessed for shopping, sightseeing, and vacation fun. Access to the lot is off public town roads and private roads for easy year-round access with power on the street. An internal improved gravel road, accessed from Remick Road, crosses the interior of the lot to the north and west for approximately ¾ of a mile. Most of the eastern boundary line is defined by Remick Road. The status of Remick Road is uncertain, but it has power and year-round residents. The lot has recently been harvested, leaving behind a vigorous stand of mostly young hardwood. There are some distant views gained from the recent harvest. There is a great hunting lot with young hardwood sprouts for wildlife to browse and cover for game birds. Schoolhouse Brook flows through the western portion of the lot and into Schoolhouse Cove on Beech Hill Pond, off the subject property. Tannery Brook outlets from Floods Pond and makes up the easternmost boundary line of the property before it makes its way to Graham Lake. There is approximately 1,100 feet of frontage on Tannery Brook, while Schoolhouse Brook travels around 3,000 feet through the lot. Floods Pond, the city of Bangor’s water supply, is just to the north, along with Bangor Water District lands abutting the subject property. There is approximately 350 feet of public paved road frontage on Point Road. Taxes for 2023 were $1,180. This property is NOT in Maine’s Tree Growth Tax program.
