The Arcola
Tract is a 290 acre parcel with rolling hills in Warren County North
Carolina. This unique site has views
that remind one of Chapel Hill. Raleigh
NC is only a one hour drive to the
south. This wooded tract is located near the split formed by Interstates I-85
and I-95. I-95 is twenty miles away and
I-85 is 30 miles away. Lake Gaston
in Virginia
is only a thirty minute drive.
This tract
is abundant with hardwood and pine trees and even includes a beaver pond. Young
vigorous pines may provide some revenue in the future when they reach
maturity. With proper clearing, this
tract has suitable soils for horse pasture or homesite.
The
wildflowers bloom from spring through fall and include native rudbeckia and
goldenrod. Wildlife includes whitetail
deer and turkeys, just to name a few.
The presence of a pond on the property attracts a wide variety of
waterfowl and songbirds.
Well
maintained farms and manicured pastures makes Warren County
a destination for people moving to the south for a quieter lifestyle while
being close to a major city. The land is
fertile and the climate is temperate.
Places like the Arcola property are attracting newcomers from the
northern US as well as from Florida and California.
Warren County
NC has been home to three state
governors, several members of Congress, and a nationally acclaimed author. In the mid 1800s the county was known for its
three warm springs resorts and was a center of horse breeding and horse
racing. The soil is good for farm crops,
pastureland and tree farming. The area
is rich in history.
For a
homestead or just for the pride of land ownership, the Arcola tract offers
privacy, views, and a suitable commute to a major city.
